Would you like to upgrade to the next Apple smartphone iPhone 6S for free [learn about the new e SIM cards Apple plan for iOS handsets]? It seems that such a possibility will be available from T-mobile ‘un-carrier’ network. According to the company’s CEO John Legere, the popular U.S. Magenta mobile operator will offer free T Mobile iPhone upgrade deals in the fall 2015.
If you own the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus you might be able to swap it for the next generation ‘fruit’ handset at no cost. Besides the company has other initiatives to attract more customers to their network with ‘un-carrier-istic’ deals.
The future iPhone 7 is mostly rumored to get the names iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. There are numerous reports on how this model will look like and what features iPhone 6S will get from Apple. A lot of potential customers are already waiting for this new release and planning to upgrade to this device as soon as it is officially launched sometime in September or October this year.
All current consumers who pay $15 a month for their T-Mobile iPhone will be able to upgrade to the newer one for free. You’ll just have to walk into your carrier’s store when iPhone 6S is released and pick up this gadget.
If you haven’t signed up for this network and don’t own their iPhone 6 you won’t be able to get the free deal and switch to the 6S model at no additional cost. The offer is available through September 7th so you still have time to get your T-Mobile iPhone 6 before Apple introduces the next generation.
You can see that the deal has a catch. Still this sounds like a curious initiative that will surely bring more customers to T-Mobile stores this summer. You should know that you can unlock T-Mobile iPhone 6 or 6S whenever you want to because factory SIM unlocking service supports all mobile operators, all smartphone models and all iOS version.
The next firmware upgrade will bring iOS 9 and this should also happen in the fall along with iPhone 6S / 6S Plus release.
