There are news about Apple Google cloud switching. The famous Cupertino-based company that has recently presented new iPhone SE with 4-inch screen and 9.7-inch iPad Pro and has just updated iOS to version iOS 9.3 is believed to also switch its cloud platform.
According to experts, Apple is using Amazon Web Services at the moment. But they have heard and shared rumors about Apple to switch to Google cloud to meet its specific needs. Could anything change for ordinary iCloud users if Apple stops using Amazon service and starts working with Google cloud platform?
The report comes from several sources. If it’s true – Apple could be transferring from one service to the other one in the next several months. The whole process might require a year so these changes won’t take place immediately and won’t happen this spring.
All iCloud users can still use their accounts, back up iPhones and iPads and do everything else they were doing. Could Google company get any money because of this switch? There are believes that it won’t just like it did no money for Amazon.
Some sources mention that some data requests are routed through Google servers on Macs and these servers are located in Asia. In other words, users won’t notice any difference if Apple is working with Amazon or Google. Hopefully there would be less errors and outages in the future.
