Different U.S. carriers are silently preparing for the upcoming massive iPhone upgrade that will definitely come to the United States this fall. Apple is going to release its new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. This even would most likely happen in mid-September. Since some customers are planning to buy iPhone 6S Verizon Wireless model this mobile operator is also planning on some offers.
The “S” line of the gadgets would get the same design as iPhone 6 however it would come with new features, Force Touch technology, better cameras and a lot of other updates that could interest customers and make them buy it from Apple or carriers.
Are users expecting attractive Verizon iPhone 6S deals [by the way you could easily clean bad ESN or MEID for iPhone Verizon]? We bet they do as a year ago when Apple was presenting its iPhone 6 Plus and 6 models Verizon offered several promotions. Of course, other U.S. operators did the same thing: Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile were all promoting the device and fighting for subscribers.
As Verizon notes, the Q4 2014 brought many equipment revenue and most sales were brought by subsidy devices. It looks like the iPhone 6S wouldn’t be that ‘iconic’ since the carrier doesn’t see this ‘iconic device’ being too different from previous versions [in other words you can get the current generation device and order iPhone 6 Verizon Wireless unlock to become SIM free]. Users don’t expect major changes in the smartphones and thus the demand might not be as high as in 2014-2015 with the 6 and 6 Plus versions.
The equipment subsidies are expected to stay lower than a year ago and iPhone sales could be slower as well. You would still be able to order factory IMEI unlock for Verizon iPhone once it is available for purchase. This is the most affordable way to get a never-locked Apple handset without voiding warranty.
How successful would this year be to U.S. carriers? T-Mobile is hoping that iPhone 6S would make it more popular compared to its rivals. What do you expect in the fall?
