Samsung to Pay Apple for Patent Infringing

Apple sued Samsung and accused of copying its iPhone design back in 2012 [you can compare Apple iPhone 6s with Samsung Galaxy S6]. Since there were tons of rumors, news, reports and case hearings even though the jury found Samsung guilty in August 2012. Now, in 2015, the Galaxy creator awards Apple with $548 millions which is around 50 percent of the original $1.05 billion announced by the jury. Samsung managed to reduce this figure in retrials.

Is there a catch? Well, Samsung seems to reserve the right to get reimbursement from Apple. This could happen in different situations, for example, if the judgment is modifies, set aside or ‘otherwise.’

So if the judgment changes sometime in the future, Samsung would like to get all the money back from Apple.
