Will iPhone 7 Be Waterproof in 2016?

Many Apple fans would like to get waterproof iPhone with many impressive features and options after new iPhone SE release. We’ve heard different iPhone 7 rumors and some of them assure that waterproof capability will be postponed until 2017. Still there are experts who are sure that Apple is testing waterproof devices and planning to release them this fall.

The new iPhone 7 2016 model should be unveiled in September or October. Apple is expected to offer updated touch sensitive iPhone Home button for both new versions of iPhone 7 [there should be iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus release in 2016].

Right now the ‘fruit’ giant is believed to be testing the new Home button that should let users get rid of physical button present on iPhones ever since 2007. The next generation smartphones are also promised to be both waterproof and dust proof. This news comes from different sources and we’ve heard before about such possibilities.

It is necessary to mention that Samsung [Apple’s rival] is already selling waterproof / dustproof smartphones. In other words, the iPhone 7 creator could easily follow the steps of the Korean giant and bring something similar to the market.

There were also rumors about Touch ID sensor integration into the screen. If this happens Apple wouldn’t need physical Home button and can make it touch sensitive. The iPhone 7 should be thinner than previous gen models since Apple has plans to get rid of 3.5 mm audio jack. Customers could also expect the company to finally remove antenna bands from the back of the gadget.
