iPhone 7 Features Apple E SIM News

Could iPhone 7 features make this new Apple smartphone outstanding among other handsets offered by the ‘fruit’ company? It looks like this indeed might be a unique iDevice that gets an e SIM alternative unlike its ‘brothers’. The eSIM is something that replaces the plastic cards since this is an electronic card. If Apple does include it into its smartphone this SIM couldn’t be removed because it is electronic.

Is it good or not to have Apple e SIM for iPhone 7? This is a complicated question right now. Some experts hope that such a SIM card could work with different carriers and remind of a never-locked state of the iPhone. If this is the case all customers would be happy since they won’t have to worry about ordering factory IMEI unlock for AT&T iPhone when buying the handset from Apple since the company won’t offer AT&T, Sprint and Verizon models [most likely].

Others think that electronic card could be a problem even though both Apple and Samsung are believed to talk with the GSMA organization [it is representing all carriers from across the world] to create a standardized card that will appear in the smartphones sometime in the future.

The positive note about Apple e SIM for iPhone 7 card is that some major mobile operators [AT&T, O2, Vodafone, Three, Etisalat and others] are reportedly planning to come on board for this program.

The non-removable e Card should allow customers switching between mobile operators without getting their SIM card. Everything should be performed via software. However it’s not clear if users have to pay for the switch or not.

Right now you should either buy a never-locked Apple iPhone to use it with different operators or order factory phone unlock [you can use IMEI checker to get the name of your original carrier] that is distant and quick.

Hopefully it will become easier to use smartphones in the future when all users get equal chances when selecting and switching between mobile operators.
